WoodClad doors offer the best of both worlds – the durability of a fiberglass frame, with the warmth of furniture-grade, clear, vertical-grain Douglas Fir on the interior. Only the most select wood makes the cut. We're so picky, we actually count the number of annual growth rings per inch for quality and consistency. Our wood interior can be clear finished or stained to match existing woodwork from a maple to a walnut appearance – or anything in between. From a boost in energy efficiency to providing more light, a WoodClad French or patio sliding door is the perfect solution.
The Beauty of Wood, the Strength of Fiberglass
With WoodClad, your choice of colors is limited only to your imagination. Inside, you can add a simple clear finish or a rich stain to the vertical grain Douglas Fir to match any interior trim. Outside, you can choose from one of five standard exterior colors. It's a finish that will never crack or peel. Ever. But if you require a custom color, fiberglass — unlike vinyl — can be painted at the job site with proper preparation. Available in in-swing, out-swing French or sliding door styles.
Milgard Vinyl Windows
Yes, our vinyl windows are different. Unlike most other manufacturers, we formulate and extrude our own vinyl. It gives us control over quality and consistency, which determines the long-term durability of the final product. For instance, our Classic Series windows offer a substantial wood window appearance, without the maintenance headaches. But unlike wood, they can't swell or rot and never need painting or excessive maintenance. In fact, our Classic™ series has set new standards for strength and weather resistance. Our Style Line™ Series offers the same benefits as our Classic Series, but in a narrower frame profile that is ideal for a variety of homes.
Easy to Install in Any Home
Replacing your windows isn't a problem, even if you own a stucco home. We developed our Z-Bar Frame specifically for that reason. Using a portion of your existing window frame to secure your new windows, our Z-Bar Frames install quickly, giving your home a new look without costly stucco repairs.
Milgard Complementary Patio Door Styles
No matter which windows you choose, we make the doors to match. They feature heavy-duty hardware for smooth operation and optional keyed locks that exceed the nation's toughest forced entry requirements. Plus, every door is built to the same standards as our windows, which means they're guaranteed for a lifetime.
The Timeless Durability of Aluminum
For years, architects and builders have specified aluminum windows and patio doors for their overall strength and lasting value. Because of their rigidity and durability, aluminum windows can be configured into combinations with a large glazing area for maximizing views. But today's aluminum windows are very different than those you may remember from a few years ago.
At Milgard, we approach aluminum windows as a specific design requirement — not as a low-cost alternative to vinyl or wood. As a result, our unique aluminum windows are found in homes and projects ranging from high-end custom homes and light commercial applications to entry-level homes and multifamily projects. And just about everything in between.
While traditional aluminum windows are best suited for milder climates, our complete line of thermally-broken aluminum windows are used in projects as far north as Alaska. Whichever frame is right for you, you can be sure of your decision to use Milgard aluminum. Like all our products, our aluminum windows and patio doors carry a full lifetime warranty for as long as you own and reside in your home. Parts and labor included. It's a commitment you can trust from a company that has been satisfying customers for over 40 years.
Milgard SunCoatMAX WindowsSuperior Window Products
Distinguished by a quality appearance, clean designs and energy efficiency, Superior's fixed windows come in many geometric shapes and sizes. Today's modern structures incorporate many unusual, custom shaped windows. The uniquely designed sill, incorporating weep hole covers and a high inside leg, allows for drainage of water to the exterior while preventing wind blow back. Choose from four frame types; nail-on with a 1" fin set back for new construction, block frame with optional sloping sill; or retro-fit frames. This Superior product was designed with you in mind.
QualityChoosing windows? The decision is an easy one when you know PPG glass: the glass that offers quality, innovation, durability, and comfort in any climate.
Windows made with PPG glass will help you feel more comfortable in many ways. We make glass to keep you warm on a chilly winter's night and cool on the hottest day of summer. We make glass that increases energy efficiency. We even make a glass that cleans itself.
Solarban 70 XL Solar Control Low-E Glass is specially coated to transmit high levels of sunlight while blocking the heat generated by the sun. In the winter, the same coating helps reduce the escape of furnace heat.
With Solbran 70XL GLASS, The Best Choice For Energy-Efficient Glass is Clear
With an unparalleled combination of visible light transmittance, energy-saving solar control and a clear glass appearance, Solarban 7oXL Solar Control Low-E Glass by PPG represents the most dramatic advance in window glass in more than a decade.
In a standard insulating glass unit, the clear appearance of Solarban 70XL glass permits 64 percent of the sun's natural light to enter your home while blocking 72 percent of its heat energy. That means you can get the clear glass appearance most homeowners favor — together with summer cooling cost savings of up to 25 percent — in one brilliant package.
When you buy windows made with Solarban 70XL glass, here's what you get:
Cooler In The Summer
Thanks to its special low-emissivity (low-e) coating, a window made with Solarban 7oXL glass allows 64 percent less heat from the sun to enter your home than a window with ordinary glass. That can reduce summer cooling costs by up to 25 percent. Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) is a measure of how much solar heat is transmitted through the glass. A lower SHGC means less summer heat.
Comfortable, Abundant Light
Solarban 70XL glass has a proprietary solar control low-e coating that blocks almost ¾ of the sun's heat energy while transmitting abundant natural light.
Fade Protection
The solar control, low-e coating of Solarban 70XL glass blocks ultraviolet (UV) energy, which is traditionally associated with fading, 90% more effectively than ordinary glass. However, a more complete measure of fading resistance called " damage -weighted transmittance," shows that Solarban 7oXL glass also protects your fabrics, furniture and carpets from fading caused by visible light.
Warmer In The Winter
Furnace heat lost through your windows is at its peak on winter nights. When your windows are made with Solarban 7oXL glass instead of ordinary glass, this heat loss is cut nearly in half, meaning lower heating bills.

The success Simonton enjoys today can be traced back to the simple philosophy, core beliefs and old-fashioned values that first took root in 1946 in a small town called Pennsboro, West Virginia. Back then, the Simonton family recognized a growing need for aluminum products and manufactured quality aluminum awnings and marquees. The family soon realized that a high-quality window would be in high demand, so they branched out into the aluminum window and door market. One of the first additions to their product line was an innovative triple-track storm window. It was met with such success that they soon added two more windows, the Thermo Boss and the Energy Capp.
A new direction.
By the early 1980s, the Simonton family recognized that vinyl was superior to aluminum for window and doors, so, once again, the company headed in a new direction. Top-quality vinyl windows and doors, along with unbeatable delivery times and great customer service was apparently something America was ready for. Sales skyrocketed, and several huge expansion projects thrust the company into a leadership position.
A new age of old-fashioned values.
Simonton Windows® entered the new millennium with its dedication to quality products and unbeatable customer service intact. Legendary Simonton quality continues to be recognized throughout the industry and is evident in the numerous industry awards Simonton has received. In 2006, Simonton proudly joined the ranks of other leading home and hardware products that are synonymous with quality when it was acquired by Fortune Brands, Inc. Simonton now offers many distinct lines of vinyl replacement and new construction windows and doors, including ENERGY STAR® compliant products, and even a full line of impact-resistant windows and doors. And every Simonton product is engineered for superior performance, thermal efficiency and long-lasting beauty.
